Five hundred people singing in harmony would be the highlight of anyone’s day, but for Richard Stout, it’s a way of life. “I’ve been very fortunate. I was in music all my life,” says Richard. And his evenings listening to the New York Philharmonic on the radio with his father led to more than a passion for melody—he met his wife of 75 years while partnering with a girls’ choir in his youth. Now beautiful music and hymns are part of his daily lifestyle as a Brookdale resident.
