Meals play a vital role in the recovery process, which is why we take a lot of pride in our dining program. Many of our patients have specific dietary requirements. Maybe you need to avoid red meat or hit a certain number of calories per day. Whatever the requests may be, we’ll work with you and your doctor to address your dietary needs.

You can also choose between taking meals in your room, or enjoying meals with others in our spacious dining rooms, depending on your mobility access. At the end of the day, our goal is to work together to create a dining plan that tastes delicious and helps you recover faster.

Our medical directors manage individual rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and transitional programs, while working alongside consulting physicians with specialized expertise. Because our staff members are professional, efficient and have a passion for treating each patient as an individual, you can rest easy knowing you are in good hands whether you are here for a heart condition, stroke recovery, long-term care or otherwise.

Spotlight on SVP of Clinical Services

Kim Elliott, our Senior Vice President of Clinical Services, helps us provide top-notch care to each and every patient in our skilled nursing program. Her job is to make sure we are always striving to provide quality care to everyone who walks through our doors.

When it comes to leading clinical programs, Elliott is our authority on resident care. Her philosophy emphasizes individualized care, personal choice and patient independence, and she is dedicated to finding ways to help our residents live and age well.

In addition to her work on our team at Brookdale, Elliott serves on the Argentum Clinical Quality Executive Roundtable, is on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Central Florida University School of Nursing, and is a member of the Nightingale Society. She was recently inducted into McKnight’s Women of Distinction Hall of Fame and holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, with a specialty of executive leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
